Installation

This is a hardwired ceiling pendant, designed as a single, directional light source rather than an ambient fixture. Assembly is required, and a sloped adapter is included for angled ceilings up to ±30°.

  1. Turn off the power to the circuit at the breaker panel, then use a voltage tester on the existing ceiling box to confirm there is no power flowing
  2. Attach the mounting bracket — or the included sloped adapter, if your ceiling is angled — to the ceiling junction box with the screws provided
  3. Connect the ground (green/bare copper), neutral (white), and live (black) wires using wire connectors, confirming each connection is tight with no bare wire exposed
  4. Assemble the aluminum body, brass rod, and glass diffuser according to the included hardware
  5. Lift the assembled fixture into place and align it with the mounting bracket before fully tightening
  6. Insert a GU10 bulb
  7. Aim the fixture toward its intended focal point — an island, table, or reading area — since this pendant is designed to direct a focused beam rather than flood the room
  8. Restore power and test at the switch. If using a dimmer, confirm it's TRIAC-compatible before wiring it in
Care

Dust the perforated aluminum body with a soft, dry cloth.

  • The solid brass rod is designed to age and patina naturally over time; this is intentional and not a defect, so avoid polishing it back to a bright finish if you want to preserve the aged look
  • Dust the engine-turned glass diffuser gently; avoid abrasive cleaners

The design

Not every room needs a chorus of light. Ace exists on its own terms — a large-scale tube projects a deliberate beam through a convex, hand-faceted glass lens, creating a sharp, refined glow that doesn't scatter.

The body is built from powder-coated aluminum with engineered perforations, anchored by a solid brass rod that ages gracefully over time. Below, engine-turned glass diffusers break the beam into subtle, circular motifs.

Leave about 30–36 in between the surface and the bottom of the fixture so it lights the table without blocking sightlines.
Open floor
Where people walk underneath, keep 7 ft (84 in) or more of headroom; add 3 in for each foot of ceiling above 8 ft.
Over a long table
Aim for a fixture about half to two thirds the table's length, or a row of pendants spaced 24–30 in apart.
The bulb
2700K–3000K warm white suits living and dining rooms; 3000K–3500K reads crisper in kitchens and baths.
