The Vega LED Downlight is built around a deep-set die-cast aluminum housing engineered to sit flush with the ceiling plane, so only a soft circle of light is visible from below rather than the fixture itself.

A smooth white polycarbonate inner baffle lines the housing, diffusing the LED source and cutting glare before light reaches the room. The trim ring is available in black or white to blend with either a light or dark ceiling finish, while the aluminum-and-polycarbonate build is rated for both new-construction and remodel installations.

The Vega LED Downlight is a hardwired recessed fixture designed to install into a standard 4-inch ceiling opening for new construction or remodel projects. Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician with power disconnected at the breaker.

1. Turn off power to the circuit at the breaker box.
2. Prepare or verify a 4-inch recessed opening in the ceiling.
3. Connect the fixture's wiring to the household wiring inside the included junction box.
4. Set the desired color temperature (2700K–5000K) using the selector switch on the junction box before closing up the housing.
5. Secure the housing into the ceiling opening so the trim sits flush with the ceiling surface.
6. Restore power and test operation, including dimmer compatibility if wired to a TRIAC dimmer switch.

Because the color-temperature switch is inside the junction box, select the desired setting before final installation to avoid having to re-access the fixture.

Is the Vega LED Downlight dimmable?

Yes. It's TRIAC dimmable across a 5%–100% range when paired with a compatible dimmer switch.

Can I change the color temperature?

Yes. The switch inside the included junction box lets you select from five color temperatures — 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K — before final installation.

What size opening does it need?

It installs into a standard 4-inch recessed housing opening, suitable for both new-construction and remodel projects.

What finish options are available?

What's the CRI, and why does it matter?

No. The fixture is dimmer-compatible (TRIAC, 5%–100%), but a compatible dimmer switch must be purchased and wired in separately.
