Electrical

The Vega LED Downlight uses an integrated 15W LED light source (equivalent to a 75W incandescent recessed light) running on AC 110–130V, with a CRI of 90 for accurate color rendering.

It's TRIAC dimmable across a 5%–100% range when wired to a compatible dimmer switch, and offers five selectable color temperatures — 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K — set via a switch on the included junction box. The fixture is cUS ETL Listed.

Installation

The Vega LED Downlight is a hardwired recessed fixture designed to install into a standard 4-inch ceiling opening for new construction or remodel projects. Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician with power disconnected at the breaker.

Turn off power to the circuit at the breaker box.
Prepare or verify a 4-inch recessed opening in the ceiling.
Connect the fixture's wiring to the household wiring inside the included junction box.
Set the desired color temperature (2700K–5000K) using the selector switch on the junction box before closing up the housing.
Secure the housing into the ceiling opening so the trim sits flush with the ceiling surface.
Restore power and test operation, including dimmer compatibility if wired to a TRIAC dimmer switch.

Because the color-temperature switch is inside the junction box, select the desired setting before final installation to avoid having to re-access the fixture.

Care

The Vega's die-cast aluminum housing and polycarbonate baffle are built for long-term durability, but simple care keeps the fixture looking and performing its best.

Turn off power before cleaning or handling the fixture.
Wipe the baffle and trim ring with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or scouring pads that could scratch the trim finish.
Do not submerge or use in wet locations — this fixture is rated for standard interior ceiling use.

The design

Some fixtures are meant to be seen — the Vega LED Downlight is meant to disappear. Its deep-set aluminum housing and smooth polycarbonate baffle recede into the ceiling plane, leaving behind nothing but a clean, even wash of light.

With five selectable color temperatures and true TRIAC-dimmable performance, it adapts from a warm, relaxed living space to a crisp, task-focused kitchen or hallway — one fixture, tuned to the room, and finished in black or white to disappear into the ceiling around it.

Material & craft

Up close

The Vega LED Downlight is built around a deep-set die-cast aluminum housing engineered to sit flush with the ceiling plane, so only a soft circle of light is visible from below rather than the fixture itself.

A smooth white polycarbonate inner baffle lines the housing, diffusing the LED source and cutting glare before light reaches the room. The trim ring is available in black or white to blend with either a light or dark ceiling finish, while the aluminum-and-polycarbonate build is rated for both new-construction and remodel installations.

The Vega is offered in black or white trim, letting the low-profile baffle blend seamlessly with either a light or dark ceiling finish. Both finish options share the same die-cast aluminum housing and 4-inch cutout size, so the choice is purely aesthetic.

Can I change the color temperature?

Yes. The switch inside the included junction box lets you select from five color temperatures — 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K — before final installation.

What size opening does it need?

Is it certified for safety?
