Wall mounting bracket and hardware

Installation

This is a hardwired wall sconce for indoor use only. Professional installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.

Turn off the power to the circuit at the breaker panel, then use a voltage tester on the existing wall box to confirm there is no power flowing before you begin
Attach the mounting bracket to the wall electrical box using the screws provided, and check that it sits flush and secure
Connect the three wire types — ground (green/bare copper), neutral (white), and live (black) — using wire connectors, matching each to the corresponding wire from the wall box
Check that every connection is tightly secured and that no bare wire is exposed once connected
Align the sconce body with the mounting bracket and secure it in place, keeping the golden brass diffuser facing outward as intended
Insert an E13/E14 bulb rated to 40W or less (LED equivalent recommended)
Restore power at the breaker and test the sconce with the wall switch before finishing up

Care

Dust the black antique brass body and golden brass diffuser with a soft, dry cloth.

Avoid water, moisture, and household cleaning chemicals — this fixture is rated IP20 for dry indoor locations only
Avoid abrasive cloths or polishes that could scratch the baked finish or dull the brass diffuser

Returns & warranty

Eligible items can be returned within 30 days in line with our return policy.

If your fixture arrives damaged, email photos of the item and packaging to support@airhvn.com and we'll help put it right.

Contrast Brass Wall Sconce

$359.99

The design

Inspired by classical Western aesthetics, the Medicis pairs a minimalist black antique brass silhouette with an inset golden brass diffuser, letting light and shadow blend across the contrast of the two tones.

The design leans on restraint rather than ornament — a quieter, more sculptural read on traditional sconce lighting, suited to a hallway, primary bedroom, living room, or powder room.

Run singly as an accent or mirrored in a pair flanking a mirror, doorway, or headboard.

Material & craft

Up close

The body is cut from carbon steel and finished in a black antique brass baking finish, with an inset golden brass diffuser set into the silhouette for contrast.

The two-tone black-and-gold treatment is designed to pair with black hardware, brass fixtures, and warm wood furniture.

Lit

After dark

The carbon steel body is finished in black antique brass with a baking-finish process, with an inset golden brass diffuser produced by a cutting process, for a two-tone black-and-gold contrast.

General guidelines

Living spaces: Mount around 60–66 in from the floor to the center of the fixture, near eye level.
Bathroom vanity: Either side of the mirror at about 64–70 in, or one fixture centered above it around 75–80 in.
Hallways: Space sconces roughly 8–10 ft apart for an even wash of light.
The bulb: 2700K–3000K warm white suits living and dining rooms; 3000K–3500K reads crisper in kitchens and baths.

General design guidance, not an installation specification. Follow the included instructions and local electrical code. Unsure? Email a photo of your space to support@airhvn.com.
