Installation Guide

The Vireo Ribbed Pendant is a hardwired fixture and should be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical codes, with power disconnected at the breaker before work begins.

Turn off power to the circuit at the breaker box and confirm with a voltage tester.
Mount the canopy bracket to the electrical junction box.
Connect the fixture's wiring to the household wiring inside the junction box, including the wiring for the push-button switch if one is being installed inline.
Adjust the suspension length to the desired hanging height before final mounting, if a custom length was specified.
Secure the 5"-diameter canopy flush to the ceiling.
Install an E26-base bulb into the socket.
Restore power at the breaker, then test the fixture and the push-button switch.

The push-button switch is not included with the fixture and should be selected and wired in separately if on/off control at the fixture (rather than a wall switch) is desired.

The Vireo's ribbed glass and metal canopy should be cleaned gently to preserve both the texture of the glass and the finish of the metal.

Turn off power and let the bulb cool before cleaning.
Dust the ribbed glass shade with a soft, dry cloth, following the direction of the ribbing to avoid missing the recessed grooves.
Wipe the brass or bronze canopy with a soft, dry cloth; avoid household metal polishes, which can strip the finish over time.
Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on either the glass or the metal.
