Electrical

The Camisa runs on AC 110–240V and takes LED or Edison bulbs with an E14 (small Edison screw) base — bulbs are not included. Depending on scale, it holds 6 (Standard), 8 (Large), or 10 (Statement) bulbs. It is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 LED bulbs and an LED-rated wall dimmer; a warm color temperature of 2700K–3000K is recommended to bring out the swirled glass colors. Electrically certified for North America, Europe, Saudi Arabia, and Australia.

Installation

The Camisa Glass Chandelier is a hardwired ceiling fixture for indoor use. Installation involves connecting the fixture to household wiring at a ceiling junction box, so we recommend hiring a licensed electrician. Given the fixture's weight (roughly 55 lbs on larger sizes), confirm the ceiling junction box is adequately reinforced before mounting.

Turn off power to the circuit at the breaker before beginning installation
Mount the canopy/mounting bracket to the ceiling junction box, reinforcing the box if needed for the fixture's weight
Attach the suspension rod and sputnik frame to the canopy
Connect the fixture wiring to the household wiring per standard electrical practice
Carefully hang each cascading glass disc in place per the assembly guide, handling glass gently
Install E14 LED or Edison bulbs (6, 8, or 10 depending on size) — a warm 2700K–3000K bulb is recommended to bring out the swirled glass colors
Restore power and test the fixture with the wall switch
If using a dimmer, confirm it is LED-rated and paired with dimmable E14 LED bulbs

The design

Since the 13th century, master glassmakers on the island of Murano have shaped molten glass into some of the world’s most celebrated handblown work. The Camisa draws directly on that lineage: swirled, alabastro-technique glass discs, layered with pigment while still molten, cascade from a sculptural chrome sputnik frame in overlapping columns of color.

No two Camisa chandeliers are quite alike — each disc is individually shaped, so subtle variations in swirl pattern, color depth, and translucency are part of its handmade character. Whether hung over a formal dining table, in a grand foyer, or as a living room centerpiece, it reads as sculpture as much as light.

Material & craft

Up close

The Camisa's cascading discs are made using the alabastro technique of Murano-style glasswork, layering pigment inside molten glass to create soft, marbled clouds of color suspended within a translucent matrix. Each disc reads less like a solid color and more like a small, frozen weather system, cascading outward and downward — denser near the bottom of the fixture and sparser toward the top.

Because each disc is individually shaped by hand, subtle variations in color depth, swirl pattern, and translucency occur from piece to piece — part of the handmade, Murano-style character rather than a flaw. No two Camisa chandeliers are identical.

The radiating arms and canopy are built from solid metal in a sputnik configuration, finished in Chrome as standard, with Black, White, Nickel, or Copper available as a custom order.

Beyond the four stocked glass colorways, custom translucent tones can be requested — smoky grays, jewel reds, ambers beyond the standard palette, monochrome black, gold-flecked glass, and mixed-color combinations across the cascading discs.

General guidelines

Over a table or island: Leave about 30–36 in between the surface and the bottom of the fixture so it lights the table without blocking sightlines.
Open floor: Where people walk underneath, keep 7 ft (84 in) or more of headroom; add 3 in for each foot of ceiling above 8 ft.
Over a long table: Aim for a fixture about half to two thirds the table's length, or a row of pendants spaced 24–30 in apart.
The bulb: 2700K–3000K warm white suits living and dining rooms; 3000K–3500K reads crisper in kitchens and baths.
