Electrical

Each arm takes an E26 (US) or E27 (EU) bulb, plus one central socket. A warm white 2700K–3000K LED candle or globe bulb, up to 40W incandescent equivalent each, is recommended; bulbs are not included. Color temperature depends on the bulb chosen, with warm white recommended to flatter the brass tone. The fixture is compatible with a dimmable bulb and TRIAC dimmer, hardwires to a standard junction box, and runs on universal AC 110–240V.

Installation

This chandelier hardwires to a standard ceiling junction box; professional installation is recommended.

Turn off power to the circuit at the breaker
Have an electrician mount the canopy to the ceiling junction box and shorten the 50cm (19.7") chain if needed
Unbox each glass globe carefully and screw it onto its arm cup
Fit bulbs into the E26/E27 sockets — warm-white LEDs recommended (bulbs not included)
Restore power and test the fixture

For indoor use only. Allow 30–36" clearance above a dining table, or 7 ft minimum from the floor in walkways.

The design

Built in turn-of-the-century vocabulary, the Evelyn Glass Chandelier radiates slender scrolled arms in hand-aged antique brass from a central glass-balustered column, each arm cradling a hand-blown glass globe. A larger globe drops below the canopy as a counterweight, closing the silhouette with a small finial — the proportion light, the line continuous.

Offered in clear, white, blush pink, or pale blue hand-blown glass, and in five sizes from 3+1 to 8+1 heads, it reads as an antique brass chandelier or a coastal chandelier depending on the glass chosen, suited to dining rooms, sitting rooms, bay-window reading corners, and entry foyers with traditional or transitional interiors.

Up close

The Evelyn Glass Chandelier (SKU RDC-2081) is built from an iron body finished in hand-aged antique brass, with slender scrolled arms radiating from a central glass-balustered column. Each arm cradles a hand-blown glass globe, with a larger globe dropping below the canopy as a counterweight and a small finial closing the silhouette.

The glass globes are hand-blown in four tints, each with a distinct character: Clear is restrained and architectural, letting the brass scrollwork lead; White gives a soft milk-glass diffusion for a warmer, more residential glow; Blush Pink is a romantic warm rose, flattering for bedrooms and powder rooms; and Pale Blue is a cool, light tint suited to pale or coastal interiors.

As hand-blown glass, minor variation in thickness, small bubbles, and tone are part of the artisanal character rather than flaws, and the small ventilation holes visible in each globe are an intentional part of hand-blown glass construction, not a defect. The hand-aged brass finish is applied across the iron arms and column and may also vary slightly piece to piece.

General guidelines

Over a table or island: Leave about 30–36 in between the surface and the bottom of the fixture so it lights the table without blocking sightlines.
Open floor: Where people walk underneath, keep 7 ft (84 in) or more of headroom; add 3 in for each foot of ceiling above 8 ft.
Over a long table: Aim for a fixture about half to two thirds the table's length, or a row of pendants spaced 24–30 in apart.
The bulb: 2700K–3000K warm white suits living and dining rooms; 3000K–3500K reads crisper in kitchens and baths.
