Where it hangs best
- Over a table or island
- Leave about 30–36 in between the surface and the bottom of the fixture so it lights the table without blocking sightlines.
- Open floor
- Where people walk underneath, keep 7 ft (84 in) or more of headroom; add 3 in for each foot of ceiling above 8 ft.
- Over a long table
- Aim for a fixture about half to two thirds the table's length, or a row of pendants spaced 24–30 in apart.
- The bulb
- 2700K–3000K warm white suits living and dining rooms; 3000K–3500K reads crisper in kitchens and baths.
Designer's rule of thumb: add the room's length and width in feet. That number, in inches, is a good fixture width.

Delivery & costs
When will it arrive?
Delivery is free and tracked, usually 7–12 days from the day you order; you get a tracking link by email when it ships. Due to increased demand during the holiday season, some orders may take over a month to arrive.
Are there any extra costs?
Shipping is free on every order. Bulbs are only included where the specifications say so, and hardwired fixtures need an electrician to install.

Installation
Can my ceiling hold it?
Standard ceiling boxes are rated for fixtures up to 50 lb. Heavier pieces need a box rated for the weight, fixed to framing; your electrician will check this. Email us for the fixture's weight before you order.
