Installation

This is a hardwired fixture and should be installed by a qualified, licensed electrician in accordance with local electrical codes, with power disconnected at the breaker before work begins.

Turn off power to the circuit at the breaker box and confirm with a voltage tester.
Mount the ceiling bracket to the electrical junction box (the 4.7" (12cm) brushed brass canopy should fully cover the junction box).
Connect the fixture's wiring to the household wiring (ground, neutral, and live) inside the junction box.
Install the bulb(s) into the socket(s) before attaching the shade, if the shade's design makes the bulb hard to reach once assembled.
Carefully attach the pleated fabric shade over the frame, taking care not to crush or flatten the pleats.
Secure the fixture flush to the ceiling and restore power at the breaker, then test.

This fixture is not compatible with sloped or angled ceilings — it is designed for installation on a flat ceiling in a dry, indoor location only.

Care

The fixture's pleated fabric shade and brushed brass canopy should be cleaned gently to keep its finish and appearance looking new.

Turn off power and let any bulb cool before cleaning.
Dust the pleated fabric shade and brushed brass canopy with a soft, dry cloth on a regular basis.
Avoid household glass/metal cleaners and abrasive pads, which can dull or scratch the finish.
Dust the pleats gently with a soft brush or lint roller rather than pressing directly on the fabric, which can flatten the pleated texture.

Returns & warranty

Eligible items can be returned within 30 days in line with our return policy.

If your fixture arrives damaged, email photos of the item and packaging to support@airhvn.com and we'll help put it right.

The design

Elowen shapes soft pleats into a sculptural flower silhouette, with a brushed brass canopy adding a warm, tailored finish. Its wide 19.5-inch profile reads airy and bright by day, when the ivory white pleated fabric catches natural light on its own.

Once the three bulbs come on at night, that same fabric turns warmly luminous, diffusing the light across its pleats rather than casting it in a single hard beam — a flush-mounted centerpiece for a room with a flat, dry indoor ceiling.

Material & craft

Up close

The shade is a pleated fabric stretched over a metal frame, with three bulbs inside so the light spreads evenly across the folds. The 4.7-inch canopy keeps the ceiling fitting small and neat under the wide shade.

Shade: ivory pleated fabric over a metal frame
Canopy: brushed brass, 4.7" diameter
Size: 19.5" diameter x 11" high
Indoor, dry locations; not for sloped ceilings

Lit

After dark

Elowen pairs an ivory white pleated fabric shade with a brushed brass canopy, giving the fixture a soft, textural top layer against a warm metal finish at the ceiling.

General guidelines

Over a table or island: Leave about 30–36 in between the surface and the bottom of the fixture so it lights the table without blocking sightlines.
Open floor: Where people walk underneath, keep 7 ft (84 in) or more of headroom; add 3 in for each foot of ceiling above 8 ft.
Over a long table: Aim for a fixture about half to two thirds the table's length, or a row of pendants spaced 24–30 in apart.
The bulb: 2700K–3000K warm white suits living and dining rooms; 3000K–3500K reads crisper in kitchens and baths.

Check it against your room

Designer's rule of thumb: add the room's length and width in feet. That number, in inches, is a good fixture width.
