Where it hangs best
- Over a table or island
- Leave about 30–36 in between the surface and the bottom of the fixture so it lights the table without blocking sightlines.
- Open floor
- Where people walk underneath, keep 7 ft (84 in) or more of headroom; add 3 in for each foot of ceiling above 8 ft.
- Over a long table
- Aim for a fixture about half to two thirds the table's length, or a row of pendants spaced 24–30 in apart.
- The bulb
- 2700K–3000K warm white suits living and dining rooms; 3000K–3500K reads crisper in kitchens and baths.
Designer's rule of thumb: add the room's length and width in feet. That number, in inches, is a good fixture width.

What size is the Ghiaccio Ceiling Lamp?
It's offered in three sizes — Small (∘17.7″/45cm), Medium (∘23.6″/60cm), and Large (∘35.4″/90cm) — a statement-scale fixture suited to foyers, dining rooms, lofty living rooms, and hospitality spaces where a sculptural ceiling element can serve as a focal point.
What does “Ghiaccio” mean and what's the design about?
Ghiaccio is the Italian word for ‘ice.’ The fixture is named for its sculptural glass elements, shaped by hand to evoke the natural irregularity of frozen water and crystalline ice forms. Light refracts through the glass into a faceted, organic glow — never uniform, never the same twice. It works as light sculpture during the day even when off, and as a luminous centerpiece when illuminated.
What kind of bulbs does the Ghiaccio use?
E14 (or E12) small screw-base bulbs, LED or Edison — 6 on the small size, 9 on the medium, and 18 on the large. Use E14 in Europe and the UK, E12 in North America; these are smaller than the more common E26/E27, so purchase the correct base for your region. For the best aesthetic effect, warm-white LED candle or globe bulbs (2700K) are recommended.
How is the Ghiaccio installed?
Ceiling-mounted via a standard junction box, connecting to a common wall switch (not included). Because of the size and weight of the hand-crafted glass elements, two people are recommended for installation, and an electrician unless you already have an existing junction box at your desired location.
What glass colors are available?
Smoke Grey, Clear, Green, or Amber, each paired with Gold or Black metal accents.
Will it work with my home's electrical system?
Yes. It runs on AC 110–240V and is certified for North America, Europe, Saudi Arabia, and Australia.

When will it arrive?
Delivery is free and tracked, usually 7–12 days from the day you order; you get a tracking link by email when it ships. Due to increased demand during the holiday season, some orders may take over a month to arrive.
Are there any extra costs?
Shipping is free on every order. Bulbs are only included where the specifications say so, and hardwired fixtures need an electrician to install.

Installation
Can my ceiling hold it?
Standard ceiling boxes are rated for fixtures up to 50 lb. Heavier pieces need a box rated for the weight, fixed to framing; your electrician will check this. Email us for the fixture's weight before you order.
