The Ghiaccio's glass elements are hand-crafted to capture the organic beauty of frozen elements — “ghiaccio” is Italian for ice. Each faceted casting is shaped to evoke the natural irregularity of frozen water and crystalline forms, so the glow is never uniform and never quite the same twice.

Because each glass element is hand-shaped, natural variation in shape, surface texture, and refraction pattern occurs from piece to piece — signatures of artisanal glasswork rather than defects.

Glass is offered in Smoke Grey, Clear, Green, or Amber, each paired with Gold or Black metal accents on the supporting frame. The fixture is designed to work as a light sculpture even when unlit, and as a luminous, faceted centerpiece when illuminated.

The Ghiaccio Glass Flushmount is ceiling-mounted via a standard junction box and connects to a common wall switch (not included). Because of the size and weight of the hand-crafted glass elements, two people are recommended for installation, along with a qualified electrician unless an existing junction box is already in place.

1. Turn off power to the circuit at the breaker
2. With a second person, position the fixture at the ceiling junction box
3. Connect the fixture wiring to the household wiring per standard electrical practice
4. Secure the fixture to the ceiling
5. Install E14 (Europe/UK) or E12 (North America) LED or Edison bulbs — 6, 9, or 18 depending on size; warm-white LED candle or globe bulbs at 2700K are recommended for the best refraction through the glass
6. Restore power and test the fixture with the wall switch
