This fixture takes two E26 medium-base bulbs (not included), rated up to 40W each at 110–120V. It's hardwired and offers dimmable capability with a compatible dimmer switch. The fixture carries a Dry/Damp location rating and is UL Listed/ETL certified.

Installation

The Ripple Glass Flushmount is a hardwired semi-flush mount ceiling fixture and should be installed by a qualified electrician with the power disconnected at the breaker. It is not adaptable for sloped ceilings.

Turn off power to the circuit at the breaker box.
Confirm the ceiling electrical box can support the fixture and mount only on a flat (non-sloped) ceiling.
Attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling electrical box.
Connect the fixture wiring to the household wiring per the included instructions.
Secure the hammered glass shade to the 3-arm frame.
Install two E26 medium-base bulbs (sold separately), up to 40W each.
Restore power and test, including dimmer compatibility if using a compatible dimmer switch.

Care

Care for the Ripple Glass Flushmount focuses on keeping the hammered glass shade and metal frame free of dust and fingerprints.

Turn off power and allow bulbs to cool before cleaning.
Dust the glass shade and metal frame with a soft, dry cloth.
For fingerprints or smudges on the glass, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
Avoid abrasive or ammonia-based cleaners on the brushed brass, oil-rubbed bronze, or matte black finish, as they can dull the metal over time.

Light through hammered glass moves differently — the Ripple Glass Flushmount takes a wide clear drum shade, hand-worked into a textured water-ripple surface, and lets it scatter soft, dynamic patterns across the ceiling and walls.

Set close to the ceiling on a 3-arm metal frame and offered in brushed brass, oil-rubbed bronze, or matte black, it brings the warmth of glass and the character of a modern farmhouse without the visual weight of a full chandelier.

The Ripple Glass Flushmount is built around a wide clear hammered glass drum shade. Its textured, hand-worked surface catches and scatters light into a water-ripple pattern across the ceiling and walls when the fixture is lit.

A 3-arm metal frame supports the glass shade from below and is available in brushed brass, oil-rubbed bronze, or matte black, pairing the organic texture of the glass with a durable metal structure built for everyday use. The oil-rubbed bronze finish is offered as an exclusive value option alongside the brass and black finishes.

General guidelines

Over a table or island: Leave about 30–36 in between the surface and the bottom of the fixture so it lights the table without blocking sightlines.
Open floor: Where people walk underneath, keep 7 ft (84 in) or more of headroom; add 3 in for each foot of ceiling above 8 ft.
Over a long table: Aim for a fixture about half to two thirds the table's length, or a row of pendants spaced 24–30 in apart.
The bulb: 2700K–3000K warm white suits living and dining rooms; 3000K–3500K reads crisper in kitchens and baths.
