Mount single-head versions flanking entry doors and garden gate posts with the fixture center at approximately 65 to 68 inches above ground level. Use the double-head version above wider doorways, on either side of multi-car garage doors, and on porch columns where single-head scale would look proportionally small. For long porch runs, install a consistent run of double-head versions spaced every 8 to 10 feet for even illumination and visual rhythm across the full porch length. The copper finish pairs beautifully with brick, natural stone, dark stained hardwood, aged bronze door hardware, and slate or clay tile roofing — the material combinations that define the premium traditional exterior palette.

Installation
Can my ceiling hold it?
Standard ceiling boxes are rated for fixtures up to 50 lb. Heavier pieces need a box rated for the weight, fixed to framing; your electrician will check this. Email us for the fixture's weight before you order.
