Installation & care
In the box
  • Geometric Up-Down Outdoor Wall Sconce(s) with mounting hardware (quantity per the set you choose)
  • Integrated LED (no bulbs needed)
Installation
  1. Switch off power at the breaker and confirm it is off.
  2. Secure the mounting bracket to the exterior-rated junction box.
  3. Connect live, neutral and ground wires as marked (typically black to black, white to white, ground to green or bare copper).
  4. Fix the sconce over the box and seal the top edge with exterior silicone.
  5. Restore power and test.

Hardwired fixtures should be installed by a qualified electrician following local code.

Care
  • Switch off and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
  • Dust metal parts with a dry microfibre cloth; avoid abrasive or ammonia-based cleaners, which can dull the finish.
  • Rinse dirt off with fresh water and check the seals and gaskets each season.
  • The LED is integrated, so there are no bulbs to replace.
Returns & warranty

Eligible items can be returned within 30 days in line with our return policy.

If your fixture arrives damaged, email photos of the item and packaging to support@airhvn.com and we'll help put it right.

The design

The geometric up-down outdoor wall sconce is the modern answer to the farmhouse lantern-style exterior light. Available in 13 and 17.5-inch versions in matte black, it suits contemporary, transitional, and modern farmhouse exterior styles where the design brief calls for outdoor wall lighting that reads as architectural and considered rather than decorative. Geometric exterior wall lighting is the signature of contemporary and modern farmhouse architecture.

Up close

The upward light component is most effective on textured exterior surfaces -- stone, brick, and board-and-batten cladding reveal their texture most beautifully under upward wall wash light.

Placement guide

Where it works best

  • Entry doors
  • Garage flanking
  • Covered walkways

Mount flanking entry doors with the center of the fixture at 65 to 68 inches above the threshold for the most balanced up-down light distribution relative to the door height. For garage flanking, mount the 17-inch version at matched heights on either side of the garage door for a formal, symmetrical exterior treatment. On covered walkways and pergolas, space the 13-inch version every 6 to 8 feet along the covered run for consistent illumination. The upward light component is most effective on textured exterior surfaces — stone, brick, and board-and-batten cladding reveal their texture most beautifully under upward wall wash light.

Delivery & costs
