Installation

Mounting: Wall-mount, hardwire.

  1. Switch off power at the breaker and confirm it is off.
  2. Secure the mounting bracket to the exterior-rated junction box.
  3. Connect live, neutral and ground wires as marked (typically black to black, white to white, ground to green or bare copper).
  4. Fix the canopy or backplate over the box.
  5. Restore power and test.

Hardwired fixtures should be installed by a qualified electrician following local code.

Care
  • Switch off and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
  • Rinse dirt off with fresh water and check the seals and gaskets each season.
  • The LED is integrated, so there are no bulbs to replace.

Mount at standard exterior sconce height — 65 to 72 inches from ground — flanking a front door, garage entry, or garden gate for the most conventional installation context. For maximum visual impact from the ripple projection, choose a mounting position opposite a flat, light-colored surface: white or cream stucco, smooth concrete render, or light-toned natural stone will catch and display the water-ripple pattern most dramatically. On garden feature walls and outdoor entertainment areas, mount lower — 36 to 48 inches — to keep the projection within the visual field of seated guests. Multiple units spaced along a long garden wall create a rhythmic, cohesive lighting installation that elevates the entire exterior space after dark.
