Installation

Mounting: Indoor wall mount, hardwire.

  1. Switch off power at the breaker and confirm it is off.
  2. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall junction box.
  3. Connect live, neutral and ground wires as marked (typically black to black, white to white, ground to green or bare copper).
  4. Fix the canopy or backplate over the box.
  5. Fit compatible bulbs if required, restore power and test.

Hardwired fixtures should be installed by a qualified electrician following local code.

Care
  • Switch off and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
  • Dust metal parts with a dry microfibre cloth; avoid abrasive or ammonia-based cleaners, which can dull the finish.
  • Replace bulbs only with the type and maximum wattage listed in Specifications.

Mount at 60 to 72 inches above the floor for the most balanced up-down light distribution — this height puts the fixture at roughly eye level when standing, which gives the upward wash the most wall surface to illuminate and puts the downward pool at a comfortable seated reading and ambient light height. In hallways, space pairs or sets every 6 to 8 feet for consistent coverage along the run. Flanking a fireplace or large artwork, mount at symmetric heights on either side for balanced architectural accent lighting. In bedrooms, mount at 60 inches beside the bed for comfortable reading light without requiring a bedside table lamp. Pair with warm LED bulbs in the 2700K range for maximum warmth in the brass finish context.

General guidelines
Living spaces
Mount around 60–66 in from the floor to the center of the fixture, near eye level.
Bathroom vanity
Either side of the mirror at about 64–70 in, or one fixture centered above it around 75–80 in.
Hallways
Space sconces roughly 8–10 ft apart for an even wash of light.
The bulb
2700K–3000K warm white suits living and dining rooms; 3000K–3500K reads crisper in kitchens and baths.
