Installation

The Emery Wall Sconce is a wall-mounted picture light with integrated LED lighting. Confirm whether your unit is hardwired or plug-in before starting, and always work with the power off.

If hardwired, switch off power to the circuit at the breaker; if plug-in, unplug before installing.
Position the sconce above the artwork, mirror, or wall decor it will accent and mark the mounting points.
Install wall anchors as needed and secure the mounting bracket.
Attach the sconce body to the bracket and secure it in place.
If hardwired, connect the wiring per local electrical code; if plug-in, route the cord to a nearby outlet.
Restore power and confirm the integrated LED illuminates in your chosen Warm or Neutral light setting.

Care

The Emery Wall Sconce combines a brass lamp body with an acrylic lampshade, so care should suit both materials.

Wipe the brass body with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and fingerprints
Clean the acrylic shade gently with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive materials that can scratch its surface
Avoid harsh chemical cleaners on either the brass finish or the acrylic shade
Do not exceed the fixture's specified wattage

The brass body gives the fixture the look of a traditional picture light, while the acrylic shade diffuses the LED into an even, focused wash suited to artwork, mirrors, and wall decor. It's offered across five lengths and three finishes so the scale can be matched to a small frame or a full art wall.

General guidelines

Living spaces: Mount around 60–66 in from the floor to the center of the fixture, near eye level.
Bathroom vanity: Either side of the mirror at about 64–70 in, or one fixture centered above it around 75–80 in.
Hallways: Space sconces roughly 8–10 ft apart for an even wash of light.
The bulb: 2700K–3000K warm white suits living and dining rooms; 3000K–3500K reads crisper in kitchens and baths.
