Halophane Wall Sconce

Available in five configurations from a single-head spot to a five-head bar, each additional head extending the bar by roughly 19cm:

• 1 Head: L 11.5cm x H 13cm / L 4.5" x H 5.1" (~5W) — a single accent or picture light
• 2 Heads: L 35cm x H 12cm / L 13.8" x H 4.7" (~10W) — a standard bathroom mirror
• 3 Heads: L 54cm x H 12cm / L 21.3" x H 4.7" (~15W) — a typical 21" vanity bar, fits standard sinks
• 4 Heads: L 73cm x H 12cm / L 28.7" x H 4.7" (~20W) — larger vanities, 60"+ counters
• 5 Heads: L 93cm x H 12cm / L 36.6" x H 4.7" (~25W) — kitchen counters or full-wall picture lighting

Each head takes an MR16 bulb (not included, user-replaceable); a warm white 3000K MR16 LED of up to 5W per head is recommended. Total draw scales with configuration, from ~5W on the single-head version to ~25W on the five-head bar. The fixture becomes dimmable when paired with dimmable MR16 LED bulbs and a TRIAC-compatible wall dimmer (such as a Lutron Skylark or Leviton Decora); not all MR16 LEDs are dimmable, so check bulb specs when ordering. It hardwires to a standard junction box and runs on universal AC 110–240V.

This fixture hardwires to a standard wall junction box and installs in a horizontal orientation. All mounting hardware is included in the box; a licensed electrician is recommended for the wiring step.

1. Mark & Prepare: use a template to mark the wall-box position. Typical centre height is 65–72" from the floor for a vanity, or 6–8" above the artwork for a picture light. Cut or locate the existing wall box
2. Run the Wiring: connect the ground, neutral, and live wires to the junction box. For dimmable operation, wire the circuit through a TRIAC-compatible dimmer (e.g. Lutron Skylark or equivalent) — this is an electrician's task
3. Mount the Backplate: feed the wires through the backplate opening, fasten the mounting bracket to the wall box with the included screws, press the backplate flush, and check level before fully tightening
4. Attach & Angle: secure the light bar to the backplate, install an MR16 bulb in each head, aim the spot heads as desired, and restore power

The solid-brass body and spot heads are hand-finished, so light, regular care keeps the polished brass looking its best.

• Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth
• A slightly damp cloth with warm water is safe for fingerprints or light marks — dry immediately afterward
• Avoid household cleaners, abrasives, or ammonia-based sprays, which can strip or discolor the finish; do not use metal polish on the factory-applied patina
• Install away from direct water contact; rated IP20 for indoor dry locations only
• Subtle tonal variation across pieces, and a natural deepening of the brass over time, are part of the hand-finished character, not a flaw
