Installation

This is a hardwired fixture and should be installed by a qualified, licensed electrician in accordance with local electrical codes, with power disconnected at the breaker before work begins.

Turn off power to the circuit at the breaker box and confirm with a voltage tester.
Mount the ceiling bracket to the electrical junction box.
Connect the fixture's wiring to the household wiring (ground, neutral, and live) inside the junction box.
Adjust the suspension cord to your desired hanging height within the 25cm-200cm (approximately 9.8"-78.7") adjustable range before final tightening.
Install the bulb(s) into the socket(s) before attaching the shade, if the shade's design makes the bulb hard to reach once assembled.
Secure the fixture flush to the ceiling and restore power at the breaker, then test.

Care

The fixture's linen shade and metal frame should be cleaned gently to keep its finish and appearance looking new.

Turn off power and let any bulb cool before cleaning.
Dust the linen shade and metal frame with a soft, dry cloth on a regular basis.
Avoid household glass/metal cleaners and abrasive pads, which can dull or scratch the finish.
Spot clean the linen fabric gently with a dry or barely damp cloth; avoid soaking the fabric, as excess moisture can affect the woven pleats.

Returns & warranty

Eligible items can be returned within 30 days in line with our return policy.

If your fixture arrives damaged, email photos of the item and packaging to support@airhvn.com and we'll help put it right.

Rhysand Linen Pendant

The design

Rhysand wraps a rounded, ribbed lampshade in textured off-yellow linen fabric, with thick woven linen forming natural vertical pleats across the shade. The result is a fixture that plays with light and shadow in a way a smooth shade can't — each pleat catches and softens the glow a little differently once the bulb is on.

That same natural-fiber character carries down into the oatmeal linen suspension cord, which adjusts to fit the ceiling height and drop you need, whether you're hanging it over a dining table, a kitchen island, or in a living room seating area.

Material & craft

Up close

The shade hangs from an oatmeal linen suspension cord, carrying the same natural-fiber texture from the shade down through the cord for a cohesive, handcrafted look.

Lit

After dark

Rhysand is finished in Cream, with the ribbed shade's off-yellow woven linen texture and the oatmeal linen suspension cord giving the whole fixture a soft, natural-fiber character rather than a hard, uniform finish.

Scale & proportion

Will it fit?

Rhysand is offered in two fixed sizes (13.7" and 24" diameter), each with a suspension cord adjustable between 25cm and 200cm (approximately 9.8"-78.7") to fit your ceiling height. There is no custom sizing beyond these two options.

Placement guide

Where it hangs best

Dining room
Kitchen island
Living room

General guidelines

Over a table or island: Leave about 30–36 in between the surface and the bottom of the fixture so it lights the table without blocking sightlines.
Open floor: Where people walk underneath, keep 7 ft (84 in) or more of headroom; add 3 in for each foot of ceiling above 8 ft.
Over a long table: Aim for a fixture about half to two thirds the table's length, or a row of pendants spaced 24–30 in apart.
The bulb: 2700K–3000K warm white suits living and dining rooms; 3000K–3500K reads crisper in kitchens and baths.

Check it against your room

Designer's rule of thumb: add the room's length and width in feet. That number, in inches, is a good fixture width.

Delivery & costs

When will it arrive?

Delivery is free and tracked, usually 7–12 days from the day you order; you get a tracking link by email when it ships. Due to increased demand during the holiday season, some orders may take over a month to arrive.

Are there any extra costs?

Shipping is free on every order. Bulbs are only included where the specifications say so, and hardwired fixtures need an electrician to install.

Discounts

Is it on sale?

Code AUTUMN25 takes 25% off at checkout. Buying several fixtures instead? The multi-fixture savings shown above apply automatically. Discounts can't be combined, so checkout uses one or the other.

Standard ceiling boxes are rated for fixtures up to 50 lb. Heavier pieces need a box rated for the weight, fixed to framing; your electrician will check this. Email us for the fixture's weight before you order.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Eligible items can be returned within 30 days under our return policy.

What if it arrives damaged?

Email photos of the box and the fixture to support@airhvn.com with your order number and we'll sort it out.
