Installation

This is a hardwired fixture and should be installed by a qualified, licensed electrician in accordance with local electrical codes, with power disconnected at the breaker before work begins.

Turn off power to the circuit at the breaker box and verify with a voltage tester.
Mount the wall-junction bracket to the electrical box, using hardware appropriate for your wall type.
Connect the fixture's wiring to the household wiring (ground, neutral, and live) inside the junction box.
Attach the fixture body to the bracket so it sits flush against the wall.
Because the LED light source is integrated into this fixture, no separate bulb installation step is needed.
Install the bulb(s), then restore power at the breaker and test the fixture.

Care

Natural stone needs gentler care than painted or metal finishes — avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners, which can etch or dull the stone surface over time.

Turn off power before cleaning.
Dust the stone shade with a soft, dry cloth.
Avoid harsh acidic or abrasive cleaners on the travertine or alabaster surface.
Wipe a wood base with a dry cloth only; avoid household wood polishes unless confirmed compatible.

The design

The Tavik brings genuine natural stone to the wall in a soft, Wabi-Sabi-inspired cylinder — a quiet, organic texture in either warm travertine or pale alabaster that most metal or glass sconces can't match.

With two shade shapes, two stone options, and three base pairings, it's built to sit beside a bed, line a hallway, or flank an entryway with the kind of one-of-a-kind character only real stone provides.

Material & craft

Up close

The Tavik's shade is cut from genuine travertine or alabaster stone, so veining and tone vary naturally from piece to piece — no two sconces diffuse light in quite the same pattern, the way a natural stone surface never repeats.

The base pairs with the shade material: walnut wood or matching travertine for the stone-shade versions, or a metal base for the alabaster-shade versions. The cylindrical, Wabi-Sabi-inspired form balances an intentionally imperfect geometry with a soft, sculptural wall presence.

Lit

After dark

Travertine tones run cream, sand, and honey with visible veining and natural pore texture — variation between pieces is normal and expected of a genuine stone surface, not a defect. Alabaster has its own natural, pale translucency that likewise varies piece to piece.

As with any natural material, actual color may appear slightly different than photos depending on lighting and screen settings.
